Churiya-Muriya-Inseln

Die Churiya-Muriya-Inseln (arabisch ‏جزر خوريا موريا‎, DMG Ǧuzur Ḫūriyā Mūriyā) sind eine Gruppe von fünf Inseln im Arabischen Meer. Der Archipel liegt in der gleichnamigen Meeresbucht ca. 40 km vor der Südostküste des Oman und erstreckt sich in west-östlicher Ausdehnung über ca. 73 km. Die ungefähr 72,3 km² große Inselgruppe ist omanisches Staatsgebiet und gehört zur Wilaya Schalim und Hallaniyyat-Inseln im Gouvernement Dhofar.
